I find that like dave ramsey said that planners get more than non planners so make a written visible plan and begin, time is what is not important. as so long is that you make progress toward your written plan. any thoughts on this feel free to leave any commits or suggestions below

Have you tried the SBA at sba.gov? They will help you obtain loans if you have a decent business plan. First you will have to put together a busines plan, but since the government garuntees these loans banks are more apt to loan you the money. You will have to have some money to invest in the business or some asset to secure the loan, but this may be an option.

You seem like a very inteligent and resourceful person, i am sure that with your keen business sense and resorces you can make your small business dream a complete success, i usually charge for my services of $100.00 per day, but you have struck me with someone that does not have that and i am not in your area, but i love to see success in others, i truly believe in karma, if you do not know about karma, then watch my name is earl. what comes around goes around. here are some steps you can take which will give you the results that you want with out the bank route.

1. write a business plan- this is a detailed discription of every aspect of the business, a potential profit and loss, taxes, employee expences, the mission, the goals, the in's and outs of the business.

2. find a mentor, you know a lot about the other 1 tanning business in town, you say demand is high, then your service should be higher and the price to match. think starbucks, not the cheapest cup of coffee but it is the atmosphere that attracts. learn from your competition, do surveys with customers and find out what they would like to have that your competitor does not. add emotional touch to. ie. a day spa with a gift shop in it.

3. constantly learn, i love audio books while i am in the car, i don't have time to read. don't just sit there to get there use 10-20 mins to learn.

make a list of potential customers.

make  a list of services you will provide

make your elivator pitch to people that may invest in your business.

 

see it is simple math,if you have all the ducks in a row, you are out in the community talking with other people and business, and there is a high demand for your product the money is the easy part. get 7 business to invest $1,000 with a personal garentee of $2,000 in return. go through your numbers, and more ideas will come to your mind.

 

tell your self every day, i will have this dream, set a date and work toward that.

in stead of saying i can't afford it, say "how can i afford this?" and that will get you started.

hi,troy,to answer your question, i would like to open a small tanning and gift shop.there's only one in my small home town,and everyone around is having to go to other towns ,because this salon is booked solid,i only need about 7,ooo, just to get started.

I do not have a problem with helping you out with this problem. I know your problem well,have been in those shoes. first of all, i will not waste your time. there are many factors to you getting the money you need. you can if you are wise. you do not need to waste anything. forget traditional ways, such as bank loans, they will not work. you know that. but there is always a way for the smart business person, such as your self. i need more information on the type of business that you want to start to help you further.

hi, i have searched the internet,going from website to website,trying to find a solution to my problem,i have a very low credit score and no one will finance  or even talk to you for that matter,'when you have bad credit.i need someone to offer some good solid advice ,if at all possible,as to where i can go on the internet,that will help me with a small business loan,usually they want you to fill a credit app.and naturally,that is where i have trouble.and most of the time ,the sites i go to want a credit card number,and only offer those cd's to show you how to borrow money ,i don;t need a cd to show me how to borrow money,just old fashion logic to get it,and where.thanks a buch!!!!!!!!!!!
